These Terms govern your access to and use of Regulatory Gate (the “Service”), including the website, dashboards and related services.

2. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Service you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
3. The service — and what a Gate Report is not
Regulatory Gate provides an indicative, expert-reviewed assessment of whether and at what cost a product can enter the EU market. Packages and prices are described in the commercial terms.
A Gate Report is an indicative assessment. It is not a legal opinion, not a formal regulatory classification, and not a guarantee of any regulatory outcome, timeline or cost. It presents ranges and confidence levels, and every paid report is issued only after an AFINA regulatory expert has reviewed it. You remain responsible for your own regulatory decisions.
AI assistance. The free Gate Snapshot is drafted with the help of an AI model and released only after an AFINA expert has reviewed it. It gives indicative ranges, not a quote, a legal opinion or a classification, and AI can be wrong, so treat it as a first orientation and not as a basis for a final investment decision. The paid reports are drafted with AI assistance and issued only after an AFINA expert has reviewed them. See the Privacy Policy for what is sent to the AI provider.
4. Accounts
- Business use only. The Service is offered to businesses and professionals. By creating an account you confirm that you act for a business or in the course of your profession, and not as a consumer.
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account details up to date.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. Tell us promptly about suspected misuse.
5. Your information
The assessment is only as good as the input. You confirm that what you submit is accurate and that you are entitled to share it, including uploaded documents. You agree not to upload unlawful or misleading content, third-party confidential data without authorization, or content that infringes the rights of others. The report applies to the product version and assumptions recorded when the scope is frozen; a materially changed product may need a new assessment. See how we handle your documents.
6. Independence
We do not use your report to sell you the fix. Any downstream services are offered separately and are never part of the verdict.
7. Intellectual property
The Service and its content (excluding what you submit) are owned by the operator or its licensors and are protected by law. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You keep your rights in what you submit and allow us to process it to provide the Service as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Prohibited conduct
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access, disrupt the Service, or bypass security controls.
- Scraping data at scale.
- Using the Service to send spam or malicious code, or to distribute unlawful content.
9. Disclaimers
Apart from the assessment you have paid for, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service — whether in contract, tort or otherwise — is capped at the total fees you actually paid to the operator for the order giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including liability for death, personal injury, or fraud).
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or if your account puts the Service or other users at risk.
12. Privacy
Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when the latest version became effective.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Prague, Czech Republic.
